Silver Dawn
Silver Dawn: All-suite luxury sailings to the Mediterranean & beyond
Snapshot
Silver Dawn launched in April 2022 as the third ship in luxury cruise line Silversea's Muse class. The 596-passenger ship is nearly identical to sister ships Silver Muse and Silver Moon.
Silver Dawn is an all-suite, all-balcony ship. Every stateroom comes with personalized white-glove butler service as part of your fare.
While Silver Muse (see our review) sails Asia-Pacific itineraries (including summers in Alaska) and Silver Moon is a global wanderer, Silver Dawn is setting its sights on out-of-the-way ports in the Mediterranean and beyond.
On board, you'll find ready-to-order relaxation therapy in Silver Dawn's Zagara Spa, featuring a salon, treatment rooms and thermal suite with Thalassotherapy pool and private sun deck. One highlight is the ship's Observation Library, a multipurpose lounge, library and coffee station replete with a cheese buffet. Another highlight is Silversea's latest innovation, the Otium spa, with four tailor-made in-suite experiences offering luxurious relaxation options.
You can also expect the usual touches that come with a Silversea cruise, including top-class accommodations, fined entertainment, attentive service and some of the best dining at sea.
Where Silver Dawn sails
Like its sister ship Silver Moon, Silver Dawn wanders to interesting, charming ports around the globe. For instance, sailings in the Mediterranean include stops in St. Tropez, Malaga, Mallorca, Kotor, Dubrovnik, Venice, Malta, Monte Carlo, Lisbon and Greece. During winter months, the ship sails the Caribbean, making stops in Barbados, San Juan, St. Lucia, Bonaire and Curacao. Dawn also visits Scandinavia, the U.K., Brazil and Peru.
Dining
Silver Dawn features eight restaurants without a main dining room. They include:
- Atlantide: European cuisine and seafood
- Indochine: Southeast Asian fusion
- Kaiseki: Japanese cuisine (specialty dining with surcharge)
- La Dame: French cuisine (specialty dining with surcharge)
- Silver Note: Tapas in a jazz club setting
- La Terrazza: Buffet during the day, Italian in the evening
- The Grill (Hot Rocks): Al fresco grilled meat and seafood
- Spaccanapoli: Pizza
Staterooms
All cabins on board are suites that have verandas. Balcony suites measure 387 square feet, plus a 64-square-foot balcony. Silver, Royal and Grand Suites come with one- or two-bedroom configurations. Four Owner's Suites measure 947 to 1,055 square feet with 129-square-foot balconies and separate bedrooms, living and dining areas.
