How our Bliss Filters work
Celebrity Cruises is a top-rated premium cruise line with a bit of a country club feel to it. As Condé Nast Traveler put it, "Celebrity is the better choice for empty nest and retiree couples looking for a quietly chic experience."
The cruise line has earned praise for its spacious, stylish interiors, dining experiences, personalized service — it has a guest-to-staff ratio of nearly 2 to 1 — and unexpected, trendsetting activities on board. Celebrity’s 16 ships exemplify the cruise line's emphasis on modern design and memorable experiences.
Two of our favorite ships are Celebrity Silhouette and Celebrity Reflection, which offer several distinctive venues, including the Lawn Club Grill, the industry’s first outdoor interactive grill venue; the Porch, with a chic Hamptons-style design, offering casual, breakfasts and lunches overlooking the lush lawn and the sea; the Art Studio, where guests can participate in intimate, hands-on classes from experts, as well as the art of food, with culinary-themed classes; the Alcoves, cabana-style settings for partial or all-day rentals on the perimeter of the Lawn Club, offering themed picnic baskets, an á la carte beverage menu and Wi-Fi; and the Hideaway, with its avant-garde, cozy, tree-house design, creating a quiet retreat for reading a good book or a high-tech escape for vacationers relaxing with iPads, which are also available to rent.
Celebrity is part of the Royal Caribbean family. Unlike Royal, you won't find flashy atriums, rock-climbing walls or ice skating rinks. But you will find a spa, salon, specialty restaurants, big production shows and elegant decor. You'll recognize the ships by the big, bold "X" on their funnels, a nod to the Greek letter for the name of the founders' family.
Discerning cruisers who enjoy modern touches, sophisticated environments, impeccable service, enriching and inspiring onboard programs and world-class cuisine will love Celebrity Cruises.
Celebrity attracts an internationally diverse crowd of families, seniors, honeymooners and baby boomers. Its ships sail to Alaska, Australia/New Zealand, Bermuda, California, Canada/New England, the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, the Pacific Coast, Panama Canal, South America, and year-round in the Galapagos Islands. Celebrity also offers immersive cruise tours in Alaska, Australia and New Zealand, Canada, Europe and South America.
