Time magazine recently came out with its third annual list of the World’s Greatest Places. In its top 100 list of extraordinary destinations for 2021, it came up with several cruise destinations and ports.
While the pandemic isn't over and travel is still problematic in some places, I'll be on a cruise ship next month, traveling to the Southern Caribbean.
Meantime, I've been to many of the places on Time's list and am glad to see they've reopened (or are reopening) to travelers:
Antarctica: In the early morning hours of Dec. 4, 2021, a solar eclipse will plunge the Antarctic Peninsula into momentary darkness. ... Several Antarctic cruise lines are offering special expeditions set to coincide with the event.
