The west coast of Norway is near the very top of my bucket list, and this video is one of my three all-time favorite drone videos, both for the dramatic footage of the fjords and natural beauty of the glaciers but also for its production quality.
"Strynsvatn" (2:48, high def) from Kai Jonny Thue Venøy was shot in and around Stryn, an area on Norway's western coastline renowned for its rugged mountains and landscapes.
The footage was captured with a Dji Phantom 2, a Zenmuse H3-3D Gimbal, a Fatshark Predator v2 and a GoPro Black + — serious equipment but surprisingly affordable. The music, by Denez Prigent, is "Gortoz A Ran." Impressive all the way around.
