I've been thinking this week of finally ordering a drone for my upcoming cruise on Silver Spirit to the Caribbean in two weeks. I'll let you know how that turns out.
Meantime, I recently discovered one of the masters of the drone video artform, the Droning Dutchman. (See his YouTube channel and Instagram and Twitter accounts.) He writes about his latest creation:
During my trip to Denmark I visited the impressive Møns Klint. Before releasing my drone on the beach, I hiked through the fall colored forest to get from the cliff top to the shore, enjoying stunning views of the Baltic Sea along the way.
Møns Klint are a 6 km stretch of chalk cliffs along the eastern coast of the Danish island of Møn in the Baltic Sea. Some of the cliffs fall a sheer 120 m to the sea below, the highest cliffs in the country. The area around Møns Klint consists of woodlands, pastures, ponds and steep hills. The cliffs and adjacent park are now protected as a nature reserve.
