Princess will sail eight ships starting this fall

Princess Cruises has announced that it will resume sailings with eight ships this fall, featuring itineraries along the West Coast and to the Caribbean and Panama Canal.

All that comes on top of Princess's announcement earlier this month that it is returning to Alaska starting July 25 with seven-day Inside Passage voyages round trip from Seattle aboard Majestic Princess.

John Chernesky, senior vice president, announced the following ships' itineraries:

Grand Princess

Grand Princess will be first in the water on Sept. 25, sailing a 5-day Cabo San Lucas Getaway from Los Angeles. The ship will sail 7-day California Coast and Mexico cruises, 15-day Hawaiian Islands voyages and 3- to 5-day getaways.

Majestic Princess

After the ship returns from Alaska, starting Oct. 6 Majestic Princess will begin 7-day California Coast and Mexican Riviera cruises, 15-day Hawaiian Islands voyages and 3- to 5-day West Coast getaways.

Ruby Princess

Ruby Princess will sail out of San Francisco and will look better than ever after completing her drydock in mid-October, Chernesky said. The ship will offer 7-day California Coast, 10-day Mexican Riviera and 15-day Hawaiian Islands round-trip voyages starting Sept. 25, 2021.

Enchanted Princess

Sailing from Ft. Lauderdale, the new Enchanted Princess will sail two brand new cruises as part of her inaugural season of 10-day Southern and Eastern Caribbean cruises starting Nov. 10. These sailings go on sale at 8 am PT on June 22, 2021.

Regal, Sky & Caribbean Princess

Enchanted Princess will be joined by sister ships Regal Princess, Sky Princess and Caribbean Princess, which together will be sailing 3-, 5-, 7- and 14-day cruises to the top-rated beaches of the Eastern Caribbean and the ancient Mayan ruins and natural wonders of the Western Caribbean. All these sailings depart from Ft. Lauderdale starting with Regal Princess on Nov. 17.

Crown Princess

Crown Princess will sail the cruise line's signature 10-day round-trip Panama Canal cruise from Ft. Lauderdale to this iconic cruise wonder of the world starting Nov. 6.

Health & safety protocols

Cruise protocols: To protect the health and safety of passengers and crew, all cruises sailing September through December 2021 from a North American homeport are available for guests who have received their final dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days prior to the beginning of the cruise and have proof of vaccination. Crew vaccinations will be in accordance with CDC guidelines.
