Carnival Corp. brands Princess and Fathom are teaming up to offer a select group of travelers to not just cruise the Caribbean but pitch in during a one-time "Cruise for the Caribbean" sailing.
The eight-night sailing happens aboard Crown Princess, departing Jan. 20, 2018, out of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. The itinerary includes Antigua, St. Maarten, St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic (see below), all hard hit by the September storms.
Princess and Fathom Global Experience promise "an interactive experience that will offer a special group of cruisers a unique, in-depth experience where they will interact with communities and take part in hands-on activities in areas that were affected by recent hurricanes."
Space is limited for this rewarding experience. Fares begin at $599 per person (based on double occupancy) for an interior cabin.

What’s included in the price?
Each guest traveling with Fathom will receive $100 on-board credits to be used at your leisure. You will also have special invitations to exclusive Fathom on-board programming, cocktail events and on-shore excursions. A welcome bag, with responsibly sourced and sustainable products, will be included as well. In addition, you'll get related supplies for on-shore experiences, daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a comfortable room based on double occupancy for a good night’s sleep. All base price rooms accommodate two people; a limited number of these rooms can accommodate 3 to 4 people at an additional cost. On-shore activities will have an incremental cost due to materials and supplies.What can you expect on board?
Fathom will host private programming sessions, cohort groups, special events and more. After you’ve booked your Jan. 20 cruise on Crown Princess, make sure to email [email protected] to receive your confirmation code to be added to the Fathom group.What can you expect on shore?
Fathom is currently building special shore excursions in the select port locations listed above. These shore excursions will provide local interactions with communities and people who have been directly impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria.
