Crystal Symphony & Serenity refurbishments
I've loved my travels on both Crystal Symphony and Serenity, and now Crystal's two main vessels have gotten multimillion-dollar facelifts. (Forbes called Symphony "a perfectly composed luxury resort that floats." I like that.)
Top enhancements on both ships include open seating dining, more penthouse deck accommodations with butler service and state-of-the-art technological upgrades that enhance passenger connectivity and access to entertainment and news on demand.
Both ships were already industry leaders in terms of attentive service and a low guest-to-crew ratio, and now that ratio has gotten even better. Crystal Symphony has reduced the number of guests from 922 to 848. And Crystal Serenity, which just had her refresh earlier this month, has gone from 1,070 guests to 980 guests while the number of crew members remained the same.
