MSC World America is slated to become a notable addition to the MSC Cruises fleet, beginning voyages from Miami to the Caribbean in April 2025. This ship will be the Swiss-based cruise line's second World Class ship, marking a milestone as the first in the class dedicated specifically to the U.S. market. 

MSC World America will accommodate 5,240 passengers at double occupancy (up to 6,762 passengers at full capacity) and 2,138 crew members across its 20 decks. The ship will feature 15,000 square meters of dedicated outdoor space and 420,000 square meters of public space, designed with a distinctive Y-shape structure to enhance the onboard experience​.

MSC is describing the ship as "elegant European design meets American comfort." MSC World America promises a distinctive international style, full of sophistication and powered by cleaner fuel. It also promises to be a smartship bringing the latest in technological innovation to the high seas. 

World America is the second ship in MSC's World class — MSC World Europa entered service last December.
