Asdastra Gardens in Nassau, Bahamas

My family and I have been to Nassau in the Bahamas on many cruises in the past.  On our last cruise on Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas, which had a stop in Nassau, we wanted to do something different.

I asked friend and Cruise Ambassador Don Bucolo (of EatSleepCruise.com) for a recommendation. He recommended Asdastra Gardens for a nice half-day outing. We were not disappointed. While not a world-class zoo and garden, there was plenty to see and do.  Biggest claim to fame is the marching of the flamingos, which they do three times a day.
