Snapshot

There’s both serenity and a measure of adventure when cruising one of Asia’s storied waterways aboard Avalon Myanmar. Sailing the Irrawaddy River of Myanmar (Burma), Avalon Myanmar can glide by centuries-old pagodas and stunning landscapes in the afternoon, then make an overnight port call at one of Southeast Asia’s overlooked gems. Whether your tastes favor exploring ancient temples, visiting elephant camps and teak forests, or indulging in the region’s fine cuisine, Avalon Myanmar offers even the most seasoned traveler new opportunity to discover (or re-discover) “The Golden Land.”

One of the line’s newer ships, Avalon Myanmar is fitted with modern amenities that promise sailing in comfort. Take in the views from either an open-air or air-conditioned lounge, or watch the scenery pass by your suite’s panoramic window. Dining options include regional and Western cuisine served in a spacious dining hall, and an upscale bar serves premium spirits.
