Up close to the ice in Iceland

Jokulsarlon Lagoon, popularly known as Glacier Lagoon, lies in southeastern Iceland along Route 1, the Ring Road. Taking a Zodiak tour at the lagoon is a must; it's the only way to truly experience the surreal beauty of the place — and the tour operators have all the clothing you need to stay warm while you're boating. Afterward, walk down to the beach where millions of iceberg shards glitter in the sand. Driving the Ring Road is the perfect start or finish to cruise in Iceland.
