Spectacular Patagonia: Nature up close

If your cruise starts or ends in  Punta Arenas, Chile, take time for adventure in one of the most breathtaking national parks in the world. Torres del Paine, about 184 miles northeast of Punta Arenas, is a world biosphere reserve and notable for being one of the most uncontaminated places on earth.

It's wild, humbling landscape is filled with rivers, lakes, waterfalls, glaciers, rock formations and wildlife. Around every corner is another vista that fills the senses. Fishing, trekking, mountaineering, rafting, kayaking, wildlife spotting and boating are available within the park, and photographers and videographers will never lack for something to shoot.
