Surfside Café & Grill: The ship's too-busy traditional top-deck buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Hudson's and The Commodore Club: The two primary main dining rooms on board offer a menu of selections that rotate daily. 

Indulge Food Hall: Guests will encounter an iPad ordering system featuring specialties from around the world, including American and Asian fare. Enjoy either indoor or outdoor seating. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Local Bar & Grill, set in an upscale beach club, features live music that complements cool cocktails and classic American cuisine.

Cagney's: Norwegian's traditional steakhouse features cuts of Angus beef and other classic fare.

Le Bistro: Guests can dine on such classic French-inspired fare as escartgots a'la Bourguignon, steak tartare, coq au vin and homard thermidor.

Los Lobos: Head here for casual but perfectly prepared Mexican fare. Check out the sweeping outdoor promenade for a less busy seating area.

Onda By Scarpetta: Enjoy bold, modern Italian cuisine and an elegant dining experience at this dining venue that reflects the flavors of the Scarpetta restaurant brand.

Palomar: Munch on grilled octopus, Greek salad and other Mediterranean cuisine. 

Food Republic: You'll find cuisine from a wide array of Asian culinary traditions — Vietnamese pho, Japanese ramen, sushi, dumplings, spicy Korean fried chicken — in this top-deck restaurant.

Hasuki Teppanyaki: You'll find Japanese hibachi-style meals (and culinary entertainment) in an attractive setting. Hasucki dishes come with a fixed price. 

Nama Sushi: Fresh sushi, sashimi and other Japanese dishes rule at this handsome, intimate specialty restaurant.

Guests on board can enjoy activities and entertainment such as the Prima Speedway, a racetrack for go-karting, Broadway-style shows, virtual reality games, water slides and pools. You'll also find live shows and interactive experiences, along with various dining and lounge venues offering unique twists. Art lovers will appreciate the extensive onboard artwork, and wellness enthusiasts can indulge in the comprehensive spa services.

For families

Norwegian Viva offers lots of options for families, including family-friendly accommodations, kids' clubs with age-appropriate activities, entertainment options like shows and interactive experiences, and pools and water features designed for family fun. Additionally, you'll find multiple dining venues that cater to different tastes and kids of all ages, ensuring that families have a variety of choices to enjoy together. 


Prima class vessels feature the largest Inside, Ocean View and Balcony staterooms in the fleet, with up to 50 percent more room and larger bathrooms and showers.

For guests sailing solo, there's a Studio stateroom perfect suited for one traveler — a welcome development for a cruise industry that typically caters to couples.

The ship has 13 suite categories as well. Premier Owner’s Suites in the Haven enclave are 50 percent larger than the most spacious suites of the Breakaway and Breakaway Plus classes.
