Gumbalimba Preserve & Animal Sanctuary - Roatan

My wife and I took a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Norwegian Jade. One of the ports of call was Roatan, which was a new port for us.  We booked a excursion to the Gumbalimba Preserve & Animal Sanctuary. What attracted us to this tour was the animals and the beautiful jungle like landscape.  There were many wild macaws, iguanas, and small monkeys. There is also a nice beach area so if you you may want to bring or wear a bathing suit and bring a towel.

One word of caution is that there is quite a bit of walking on this tour.
