Nuovo Mercato Esquilino

Also famous as a Piazza Vittorio, Nuovo Mercato Esquilino is the well known international food market in Italy.  Vendors from all over the world come here to sell different food and unusual vegetables. Asian ingredients, foreign herbs and spices which are hard to find in the city are easily available here. 

 

Mercato San Cosimato

Located in Trastevere, this is a morning market and a hub of social life of local and neighbourhood. There are dozens of shops and stalls which offer everything including fresh vegetables, cheese, meats, a butcher and a fishmonger. The market is provided with a soundtrack for children. 

 

Mercato Rionale di Monti

After a complete abandonment, the local market of Monti has recently restarted. It is just a small distance from the Colosseum in Rome.  Once a small covered market now offers a wide variety of stalls and shops having everything you need for a Roman dinner.

 Located in the Testaccio region of Roman city, It is a famous market in Italy having a mix of traditional and modern food stalls.
