Viking Kari
Viking Kari: Sailing from Paris to the heart of Normandy
Snapshot
Viking Kari carries 168 passengers — fewer than the usual complement of 190 guests on most Viking Longships — on one-week cruises from Paris to the heart of Normandy, including World War II memorials.
The highlights of your sailing will likely be a shore excursion in Normandy, France, as well as charming villages on the Seine along the way.
Purpose-built for France's Seine River, the Viking River Cruises ship boasts the same popular design elements as Viking's Longships, including streamlined Scandinavian interiors, deluxe accommodations and state-of-the-art engineering. It also features the Aquavit Terrace, which transforms from an indoor to an outdoor dining venue as the weather permits. For dining and entertainment, The Restaurant and Bar are the key go-to public spaces.
The ship's design allows it to dock in downtown Paris. Kari features energy-efficient hybrid engine technology, solar panels and a Longship design with off-center corridor shifting for larger accommodations.
