Scenic's luxury river cruise ship Scenic Aura explores Myanmar's mystical waterways and byways that lead to hidden villages, ancient cities and time-honored cultures.
The ship provides a boutique and intimate environment with just 22 all-balcony suites for 44 guests. The high-end ship also boasts a choice of dining venues offering a la carte to casual dining made from the freshest local produce, a vitality pool and bar area, spacious bar and lounge, Sun Deck with open-air cinema, complimentary beverages, butler service for all guests plus a guest laundry.
With an almost 1:1 guest-to-staff ratio, Scenic Aura brings an unprecedented level of luxury to the Irrawaddy. As with all Scenic river cruises, guests will also enjoy included tips and gratuities, expert local guides, various activities to personalize their experience plus Scenic Enrich special events and Scenic Sundowners cocktail receptions.
Where Scenic Aura sails
Scenic Aura will sail 10-night cruises between the storied cities of Mandalay and Pyay in Myanmar. Destinations include Yangon (Rangoon), Inle Lake, Bagan, Manadalay and Amarapura. Accommodations
All suites feature separate bedroom, living room and balcony and range in size from the 258-square-foot Balcony Suite complete with Scenic Sun Lounge up to the impressive 753-square-foot Royal Panorama Suite. The largest suite on the Irrawaddy, the Royal Panorama features four separate zones: bathroom with extra-large bathtub, rainfall shower and walk-in dressing room; bedroom; living room and outdoor forward facing deck complete with daybed and whirlpool.
About the ship
Scenic Aura joins the Scenic fleet of 16 luxury river cruise ships throughout Europe, Russia and Southeast Asia — Scenic Spirit joined the fleet on the Mekong River in January 2016.
As sister ship to Scenic Spirit, Scenic Aura is being purpose built to Scenic’s renowned European shipbuilding standards in Yangon. Her cutting-edge design incorporates enhanced safety and sustainability features.
