Norwegian Aqua: Sleek new ocean ship due in April 2025

Snapshot

Norwegian Aqua will debut in April 2025 as Norwegian Cruise Line's first Prime Plus class ship. It's designed to be 10% larger in size and capacity than its Prima class cousins, Norwegian Prima and Norwegian Viva

The ship will be Norwegian's fifth largest by gross tonnage, accommodating 3,571 guests at double occupancy and offering more outdoor space.

Where Norwegian Aqua will sail

Its first sailings will visit the Caribbean from Port Canaveral, Fla., with weeklong itineraries beginning in April 2025 calling on destinations such as Puerto Plata, the Dominican Republic and St. Thomas. Following that, the ship will make five- and seven-day sailings to Bermuda from New York City from August to October 2025; then it will offer five- and seven-day Eastern Caribbean routes out of Miami from October 2025 to April 2026.
