MSC Seaview: Family-friendly cruising on a smartship
The smartship MSC Seaview is an ideal way to discover different cultures, traditions and tastes and guests will be able to experience the wonders of the Mediterranean in true MSC Cruises style.
A sister ship to MSC Seaside, MSC Seaview debuted in June 2018 and has three historic Mediterranean home ports: Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona, and she calls at popular Mediterranean destinations including Naples, Italy; Messina, Sicily, and Valetta, Malta, where guests can take part in a wide range of shore activities that will help them discover the region.
Compared to other MSC ships, guests can look forward to an increased number of balcony staterooms, sea views and public areas, with every element carefully planned to make the most of the sea and the sunshine. One impressive feature is the 360-degree promenade with glass railings that runs around the entire ship. This public space was designed to act as a lively recreation area where guests can stroll in the open air, eat and drink al fresco from a variety of bars and restaurants or shop in the boutiques, all the while taking in spectacular sea views.
MSC Seaview features a number of technological advances, including:
- Keep track of the location of your children with smart bracelets and an accompanying smartphone app. Your own bracelet allows you to access your stateroom and make onboard payments.
- Interactive screens to make it simple to select excursions as well as book shows and restaurants.
- iBeacon technology that is customized to guests’ specific preferences so that they will never miss their favorite experiences and will be able to communicate with mobile devices and receive push notifications about relevant information and offers.
