AmaMora: Stylish sailings on the Rhine River
Snapshot
AmaMora, which debuted in June 2019, is being touted by AmaWaterways as having "the most advanced design of any river cruise vessel currently in operation." It's a sister ship to European-based river cruise ships AmaLea and AmaKristina.
The 156-passenger AmaMora offers a generous amount of personal space per passenger amid an eye-catching contemporary decor.
Passengers can enjoy gourmet dining with free-flowing fine wines at multiple onboard dining venues; a heated sun deck swimming pool with a ‘swim-up’ bar; fitness center and spa; complimentary ship-wide Wi-Fi and in-room Internet and entertainment on demand; and a fleet of bicycles carried on board for passengers to enjoy on their own or on guided bike tours.
Who will like sailing on AmaMora
Travelers looking for a relaxing luxury river cruise will enjoy sailing on AmaMora.
Where AmaMora sails
AmaMora sails three basic weeklong itineraries: the seven-night Enchanting Rhine from Basel to Amsterdam; the seven-night Captivating Rhine from Amsterdam to Basel, and the seven-night Christmas Markets on the Rhine during holiday season, traveling from Amsterdam to Basel.
Dining
Diners take their meals in the ship's main restaurant on Cello Deck. Meals are regionally inspired so you'll find European-inflected dishes with a bit of a North American twist. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are open seating, and lunch and dinner includes wine and regional beer.
Activities
Onboard amenities include active and wellness features such as complimentary onboard bicycles as well as an onboard wellness program featuring a dedicated fitness expert and hosted classes. On shore excursions, passengers can choose among walking tours with different difficulty levels.
The ship also features an all-day tapas menu, afternoon tea, a 24-hour coffee station in the main lounge and a nightly happy hour. Aboard AmaMora, like other AmaWaterways ships, wine, beer and soft drinks are included during lunch and dinner at no additional cost.
Staterooms
Twin Balconies are available in most staterooms, which measure 210 to 235 square feet. Category D and E cabins have river views and Categories CA and CB have French balconies.
Four suites measure 350 square feet. Suites feature AmaWaterways' signature twin balcony concept and have larger-than-average bathrooms with tubs, along with an in-suite iPad and MacBook.
