You know, you can write a long, in-depth review of a ship like Silversea's exquisite Silver Spirit (and I wrote Cruiseable's review here). But there's nothing like conveying the experience in photos.

So here are 31 shots I captured from my recent weeklong voyage on Silver Spirit, using my Canon 5D Mark III and iPhone 7 — and even a couple of photos from my new DJI Phantom 4 drone. During our sailing we called on Martinique, St. Kitts, Dominica, Antigua, St. Lucia and Grenada before ending in Barbados.

While there was a lot to do and experience on the ship, most of the memories that will last arose out of exploring these great tropical destinations and meeting the people (and fellow guests).
