  • Panorama is the second included restaurant on Grandiosa.
  • The Marketplace Buffet features casual buffet-style dining.

Specialty dining

Most of the venues on board charge for meals on top of your base fare. These include:

  • Kaito Sushi Bar: Japanese cuisine
  • Butcher’s Cut: a classic American steakhouse experience
  • Ristorante Italiano: authentic Italian fare
  • L’Olivo d’Oro Restaurant: Mediterranean cuisine
  • Kaito Teppanyaki: hibachi-style cuisine
  • L’Atelier Bistro: Intimate Parisian-style French bistro
  • Il Campo: Spanish cuisine
  • Hola! Tapas Bar: fresh Spanish tapas

And the MSC Yacht Club Grill is open only to Yacht Club guests.

Entertainment & activities

MSC Grandiosa brims with options for the active cruiser. You'll find four swimming pools, including two main pools, a private pool for MSC Yacht guests and an indoor pool. Head to the jungle-themed Wild Forest Aqua Park for its four twisting waterslides and 270-foot-long Himalayan suspension bridge. There’s also a small water park for the kiddies.

The ship features multiple bars and lounges on board, ranging from the Sky Lounge and Bar for live music to the Grandiosa Bar, a good spot for people watching. In addition to the largest shopping area on a cruise ship, you'll also find a theater for music and dance productions; the TV Studio & Bar for comedy and karaoke; a 4-D cinema (the fourth dimension? who knew?); movies at poolside; a high-tech virtual reality games area, bowling in the full bowling alley and basketball or soccer in the Sportsplex. Naturally, Grandiosa also features regular Cirque du Soleil shows with aerial acrobatics.

And, of course, if you're feeling lucky, head to the casino with its 164 slot machines and live gaming tables.

Staterooms

The ship features 2,421 staterooms in all, including more handicap-accessible cabins than in earlier MSC ships, plus new family and group cabins that can connect three rooms in a row. Basic cabin types include:

  • Balcony staterooms
  • Family cabins
  • Ocean-view staterooms
  • Interior staterooms
  • Interior studio staterooms

The rooms feature modern designs and stylish furnishings, with recessed lighting and fairly high ceilings. Ocean-view staterooms provide large sitting areas, and family cabins come with outside balconies and can fit up to 12 people. A basic suite can hold up to six and comes with a spacious balcony.

MSC Yacht Club

Guests who pay a premium and sign up for an MSC Yacht Club package receive lots of extra goodies: unlimited alcoholic beverages all throughout the ship at no extra charge; access to a private restaurant; access to a private pool and bar; access to a private lounge with snacks available all day; 24-hour butler and concierge service, and priority check-in and check-out.

Green energy footprint

With an eye to the environment, MSC Grandiosa features systems that reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by up to 80% and sulfur emissions by up to 97%. Its energy-efficient hull uses 28% less fuel than MSC’s Fantasia class ships. When docked, the ship can run on shore power.

Sister ships

Following the launch of Grandiosa, other Meraviglia Plus-class ships include MSC Virtuoso, which debuted in May 2021, and MSC Europa, arriving in December 2022.
