Azamara Journey: It's all about the destinations

Destination-focused travel & club-like hospitality

Because of the size of the ship, you will grow to love the prime docking locations Journey gets, which tend to be close to city centers, shopping and nightlife.

Life on board Azamara Journey is relaxed. Since the ship tends to spend longer days in port, there is never the feeling that the ship is overrun with people. Also, the staff members go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Ways to connect

  1. Participate in AzAmazing Evenings. Azamara organizes these complimentary events that let you see authentic cultural entertainment.
  2. Book a Land Discovery tour purpose-built for small groups. Be on the lookout for the new Insider Access Land Discoveries that take small-group visits to private homes, estates and farms, where hosts bring local traditions to life through a shared meal.
  3. Choose a Nights and Cool Places group tour, which features arts, architecture and scenery after nightfall.

What it’s like on board

Azamara Journey features an architecturally interesting interior design. At the heart of the ship is an impressive staircase that can’t be missed.

Eating is an event on Azamara Journey. There are a variety of options that include the main dining room and two specialty restaurants. In addition, there is 24-hour room service and a variety of bars (including a juice bar).

You can enjoy evening entertainment in the Casino, Cabaret Lounge and Mosaic Night. Complimentary daytime classes include yoga, nutrition and fitness instruction, travel seminars, cooking demonstrations and other activities tailored to specific regions.

Top dining options

Azamara features two specialty restaurants. Aqualina serves up  fabulous Mediterranean seafood and Prime C is a steakhouse. Specialty dining is complimentary for suite guests (Club World Owner's Suites, Club Ocean Suites and Club Continent Suites). For others, there is a $25 per person cover. Reservations are recommended, and each cabin is guaranteed at least two seatings at the alternative venues. When not dining at a specialty restaurant or in port, guests can dine at the Discoveries Restaurant or other casual eateries such as the Windows Cafe.

Entertainment

There are many daily enrichment opportunities available, mostly held in the Cabaret Lounge. You’ll see live performances of professionally staged musical revues, classical soloists, bands and other entertainment in a cabaret nightclub setting. Tip: Don't miss the poolside party that takes place once during the cruise.
