AmaMagna: Stunning river ship stands out from the crowd

Dining

AmaMagna offers four different dining venues:

  • The Main Restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • Al Fresco Restaurant, which sports retractable windows and outdoor seating — a great choice for dinner with its Mediterranean menu
  • Jimmy’s, a family-style restaurant named after the cruise line’s late co-owner Jimmy Murphy
  • Chef’s Table, where you can watch as a private chef prepares a special tasting menu

AmaWaterways emphasizes fresh, locally sourced cuisine on board AmaMagna. All four venues are included in the price of your cruise.

Activities

Here's something different: Up to 14 guests can board a Sundowner boat from The Marina at the bow for an exclusive excursion. If the mood strikes, you can pedal through river towns on one of the fleet's complimentary power-assisted bikes, or hike to hilltop castles and fortresses.

On board you'll find a large Zen Wellness Studio where you can sign up for classes on stretching, cardio, circuit training and spinning. Other choices include sightseeing from the sun deck of using its walking track, pampering yourself with spa treatment and sipping infused detox waters at the juice bar.

Staterooms

A majority of rooms on board are suites measuring 355 to 710 square feet with full balconies. They're some of the largest staterooms on European waterways. All except 11 cabins feature walkout balconies — a rarity on river cruise ships.
