I'm recently back from a Grand Princess sailing along the Mexican Riviera. Here's a photo gallery of Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo.

Mariachis, margaritas and tequila are part of the great party atmosphere of Puerto Vallarta. Known for its vacation and winter getaways, it’s a fun and beautiful spot famed for its beaches, condos, hotels and famous party chains such as Senor Frogs. PV goes back generations but it has a more modern feel that much of the Mexican Riviera, now with gallerias, cinemas and new hotels and condominiums. It's a place to have fun and or just relax in the beautiful Mexican Riviera sun.

Manzanillo may be best known for the  movie “10” with Bo Derek and Dudley Moore, the start of the hair braids trends on the Riviera. Most beaches are black sand with rough Pacific waves but they're beautiful and enjoyable.

Manzanillo is also famed for its sea salt factories and its sail and swordfishing. The other famous area is its turtle sanctuaries, where they care for injured turtle hatchlings, which they put monitors on and return to the ocean. They are nursed back to health and have forever homes now. Within the sanctuary are iguanas and crocodiles as well.

The Mexican Riviera is also known for its silver jewelry , straw hats, other handmade clothes and accessories and beautiful people who are friendly and always there with a smile. A must place to visit!
