4 promising startups, 1 great lunch

What

If you received our invitation by email, you've been invited to a first-of-its-kind event: A lunch in San Francisco where you'll get to hear 5-minute pitches from the founders of four great startups.

Who

This event is for angels and early-stage VCs interested in the consumer Internet, mobile tech or travel sectors. You may bring a plus-one and invite colleagues and other investors, though we need attendees to RSVP. Venue holds about 25. See below for startup details.

Why

We think this is a much better way to get a thoughtful conversation going between investors and founders without the speed-dating theatrics of pitch sessions seen at other events. No commitment by attending! We've gotten good early response from angels & seed-stage VCs.

Cost

Free. The event is being organized by Cruiseable and hosted by Feastly, a Bay Area social dining startup. The tab is being split by the four participating startups, which have no connection with each other.

Format

During the meal, each startup will have 5 minutes for the founder to describe their startup and its value proposition, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A by angels. No slides or PowerPoints. Following the short pitches, angels are free to have further discussions with founders. Contact info will be provided. Total length: 60-75 minutes.

The startups: Cruiseable, Stiya, Goconnekt and Outdover.

When

We have these four dates available and need to lock in one date soon:

May 4, 5, 10 or 12

Please let us know if all or some of those dates work for your schedule.

Do you prefer one over the other? Addresses to follow.

Cuisine

We have a choice of Burmese food, Mediterranean cuisine or Ecuadorian/French Fusion.
