As we pulled into the port of Cork, Ireland, aboard Royal Princess, we all noticed a tribute to the Titanic. Most of us thought England was its last stop before sinking, but it wasn't.
Cork is a quiet, quaint town with new buildings combined with the old: museums and the castle with The Blarney Stone. Kissing the stone upside down gives you the gift of gab, which i didn't need...LOL.
The steps up the castle were steep, slippery and narrow. We decided to watch the Step dancers, and there was also an option to go to the Largest Wool Store in Ireland. We also were given Irish coffee, if you never had it in Ireland, sip slow, it's very strong.
Overall, a wonderful day in the Irish countryside!
