I'm generally not one to stay at all-inclusive resorts. So when the opportunity came to participate in a familiarization trip for travel representatives to one of the high-end beachfront resorts in Cancun, I decided to check it out. 

I'll share my four-day experience at Temptation Cancun Resort next week in part two. For now, here's a photo gallery — some of my iPhone shots but mostly from the resort — of the major hotspots, restaurants and entertainment venues at the upscale resort.

This is an adults-only resort with most of the guests in the 30- to 45-years-old age range. You'll notice there are no shots of the guests above, given the resort's emphasis on privacy. Some of the women guests choose to go topless while other guests like the freedom of just letting loose, having fun and reveling in a vacation spot where people aren't lost in their smartphones all day long.
