Nestled in a bay on Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown is dwarfed by surrounding mountains. On the peninsula across the bay. the Queenstown Gardens offer relaxing walks through well-established native and exotic trees. From there, views extend back over the town to the gondola that runs up Bob’s Peak and across the lake to the well-named Remarkable Mountains.
