Like a giant swimming pool, the waters of Abel Tasman National Park are beautifully clear and blue. From the settlement of Marahau you can catch a water taxi to any beach or bay in the park. Spend the day swimming, snorkeling or kayaking, then call for a taxi ride back out again. It's at the north end of the South Island.
