The 43-passenger Delfin III, part of the Avalon Waterways fleet of upscale riverboats, is a boutique ship that navigates the western Amazon River and goes on to explore the Galapagos Islands or the ruins of Machu Picchu.

Where Delfin III sails

Delfin III sails the "From the Inca Empire to the Peruvian Amazon " cruise and land tour. These are 10-, 12-, 17- and 19-night voyages that generally begin with the western part of the Amazon in Peru. Some of the sailings include land excursions to Machu Picchu, Cusco, Peru and Quito, Ecuador. Others include sailings to the Galapagos Islands. Contact a Cruiseable travel consultant for specifics.

Staterooms

The 44-passenger ship features 22 Suites. On the first deck, there are 9 Suites with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows as well as two spacious Corner Suites facing the front of the ship. The second deck is made up of 10 Upper Suites and the largest of all, the Owner’s Suite. The top deck features upscale indoor and outdoor lounge areas, a sundeck with plunge pool, a spa and gym, and the bar.
