Scenic Tsar
Scenic Tsar: Boutique river cruising on Russia's waterways
Snapshot
Scenic Tsar from luxe river cruise line Scenic was the first "new-build" ship to be set afloat onto Russia’s waterways in 25 years. It was also the first boutique ship to join Scenic's fleet of luxury vessels.
With just over 100 guests on board, the atmosphere is intimate, as are the staterooms and suites, which offer private full-length balconies. Each cabin also has modern en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, an in-room safe, a mini-bar and complimentary Wi-Fi. The ship also has four Royal Suites with additional space and amenities.
Scenic Tsar offers the line's all-inclusive pricing, meaning that all onboard meals and drinks with lunch and dinner, port charges, bottled water for excursions and tipping are included in your cruise fare.
Where Scenic Tsar sails
Home port: Moscow, Russia
Destinations: Scenic Tsar sails from Moscow to St. Petersburg, Russia, with calls in Goritsy, Uglich and Kizhi, Russia. Note, however, that sailings are sporadic, depending on the political winds.
Dining
Scenic Tsar features traditional Russian and international cuisine along with complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks at dinner. Breakfast and lunch are served with both buffet and à la carte menu selections. Additionally, Scenic Tsar's restaurant offers multiple seating options so you can choose a private table for two or a larger table for a group.
Service & space
With just 112 guests on board, enjoy the individual attention and personalized service that only a small cruise ship can offer. There is one member of staff for every two guests. Extra space can be found at the Panorama Lounge and also at the bar and lounge on the Nova Deck. Outdoors, you can enjoy more space on the Sun Deck, which also provides great views.
Staterooms & suites
Suites offer plenty of space, as well as high-end toiletries and soft bathrobes. Each cabin is complete with modern furnishings, en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, an in-room safe and a mini-bar with water replenished daily. The queen-size "Slumber Beds" have Egyptian cotton sheets, individual climate control and a pillow menu.
Virtually all staterooms and suites have floor-to-ceiling windows that open to a private, full-length outdoor balcony.
