Utopia of the Seas
Utopia of the Seas: The megaship for quick Caribbean getaways
When it debuts in July 2024, Utopia of the Seas from Royal Caribbean will begin sailing three- and four-night itineraries from Florida’s Port Canaveral. It will be the sixth giant cruise ship in Royal's Oasis Class, and it's expected to carry more than 6,700 passengers, nudging aside its sister ships to become the world's second largest cruise ship by gross tonnage, behind only Royal's new Icon of the Seas and about the same size as Wonder of the Seas.
Where Utopia of the Seas will sail
Utopia of the Seas will feature short dash-and-splash getaways from Port Canaveral, near Orlando, Fla. The ship will offer 3-night weekend voyages and 4-night weekday trips. Both itineraries will include stops at Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay, where the adults-only Hideaway Beach is scheduled to open in 2024.
