Utopia of the Seas
Utopia of the Seas: The megaship for quick Caribbean getaways
Utopia of the Seas debuted in July 2024 and sails three- and four-night itineraries from Florida’s Port Canaveral — a first for Royal Caribbean's Oasis class ships. The sixth giant cruise ship in the Oasis class, it carries more than 6,700 passengers, nudging aside its sister ships to become the world's second-largest cruise ship by gross tonnage, behind only Royal's Icon of the Seas (which launched in early 2024) and about the same size as Wonder of the Seas.
Where Utopia of the Seas sails
Utopia of the Seas features short dash-and-splash getaways from Port Canaveral, near Orlando, Fla. The ship will offer 3-night weekend voyages and 4-night weekday trips. Both itineraries will include stops at Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas, Perfect Day at CocoCay, where the adults-only Hideaway Beach is scheduled to open in 2024.
