On a cruise ship
Discovery Princess: Cruising the Pacific Coast in comfort & style
Discovery Princess, the newest ship from Princess Cruises, debuts in March 2022, sailing out of Seattle in summer and Los Angeles in winter.
With all the new technology and features of the newest Princess ships, you'll be better connected to your cruising party, cruise staff, and your friend and family at home with the best Wi-Fi at sea. Or disconnect at the adults-only Sanctuary pool and retreat or the Enclave at Lotus Spa for hydro-therapy bliss with a cascading rain shower.
Discovery Princess promises fun and relaxation for all ages. If you have a large clan, book a two-bedroom family suite and plan special activities for your family each day. The ship offers separate supervised areas for kids ages 3 to 7, 8 to 12 and for teens. Choose a show to attend, and don't forget Movies under the Stars ... which Princess invented.
You’ll find pools in several locations, but the Sky and Wake View pools on the Lido Deck promise to be some of the busiest. Princess Sport Central is on the Sky Deck, offering a jogging track and basketball courts. The Experience Center will offer an immersive experience involving both real-world and digital enhancements.
And shows will be another highlight. Discover Princess has a variety of venues for your entertainment. For Broadway-style shows at sea, head to the Princess Theater. The Vista Show Lounge will feature an array of musicians, comedians and illusionists. And head to Crooners for a bit of a retro vibe with a talented pianist, signature martinis and other classic cocktails. If you want to get in on the show, try Princess Live! Cafe, a gathering place for ship activities.
Where Discovery Princess sails
Discovery Princess is scheduled to make its maiden voyage on March 1, 2022, with a 5-day round trip from Los Angeles (Long Beach) to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Then she’ll begin a series of 7-day voyages to the Mexican Riviera and along the California Coast before departing on April 29, 2022, for a spring and summer of sailings along Alaska’s Inside Passage from Seattle.
