G Adventures' Evolution: See the Galapagos' natural splendors

Have you sailed on G Adventures' Evolution? We'd love to hear your take and see your photos. Cruiseable has only limited information about this vessel.

Snapshot

The Evolution is used by G Adventures for sailings to the Galapagos. The cruise line says: "Sharp-looking and roomy with tons of outdoor space, you'll be amazed at how we can fit 32 passengers, sea kayaks, a cruise director and two (yes, two) Level III naturalist guides into a ship that never feels too big."

G Adventures is all about the adventure, the action and trying new things is a small group of like-minded travelers. Snorkels, wetsuits, and kayaks are there for the asking. Explore on land and in sea, and see the Galapagos like no one else.

The experience on Evolution

So why cruise on G Adventures to the Galapagos? Evolution features comfortable quarters, outdoor dining when the weather if fine, indoor dining when you need to get out of the elements, and a whirlpool on board. All meals on board are included, featuring Ecuadorian and international cuisine.

Get the opportunity to swim and hike more than you thought possible. Snorkel with the locals: sea turtles, hammerhead sharks, sea lions and myriad kinds of fish.

Hike Isabela Island’s Sierra Negra volcano crater and trek across volcanic beaches. Journey among creatures large and small, marine and land iguanas, cormorants, land crabs, Galapagos penguins and the famous blue-footed boobies. Slow down and observe tortoises at the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz Island.

Think of the Galapagos as not just a living lab, but as an adventure waiting for you.
