American Jazz
American Jazz: History-filled sailings along Lower Mississippi
Snapshot
Like her sister ships, American Jazz has the contemporary styling and modern amenities that make river cruising more attractive and comfortable than ever before. The 190-passenger ship, launched in March 2021, features a pretty five-story glass atrium, private balconies in all of its staterooms and great views from everywhere on the ship.
Ranging from 250 to 650 square feet, the staterooms aboard American Jazz are stylish and comfortable. Passengers will enjoy ample living space, full-size bathrooms, plush seating and the ideal place to unwind after an enriching day of discovery.
A nice little additional feature: American Jazz provides the same advanced opening bow and retractable gangway seen on American Song and American Harmony.
Where American Jazz sails
American Jazz's mainstay itinerary is a 7-night sailing on the Lower Mississippi River from Memphis, Tenn., to New Orleans, and then the return voyage. The ship calls on some scenic and historic ports along the way, including Vicksburg, Natchez, Miss., St. Francisville, La., Baton Rouge, Oak Alley, La., and New Orleans. Guided tours are available.
