Copyright on Cruiseable

A few words about copyright on Cruiseable: We're a new kind of travel company and publication that combines original reporting and photography with curated content and photos licensed by cruise lines, tourism organizations and elsewhere. 

We think travelers benefit from a wide-ranging variety of travel journalism, curated content and user-contributed photos and videos. 

It's important to keep in mind that copyright owners retain the copyright to their materials, even if it appears on Cruiseable. If you see an amazing photo on the Cruiseable site or in our mobile app and you'd like to republish it, you need to obtain permission from the copyright owner, not from us. 

Our team is made up of journalists, programmers and travel writers, and we depend on copyright in our own works. You'll notice that we attribute both the photographer (where available) and the copyright owner when crediting photos. (If we've overlooked crediting you, please let us know.)

We respect copyrights. If you see what you believe to be a violation of your copyright, please follow the take-down process outlined in Section 5 our Terms of service.
