Hurtigruten Nordkapp: Cruise to the far north and the land of the midnight sun

Have you sailed on Hurtigruten's ms Nordkapp? We'd love to hear your take and see your photos. The following information was curated by Cruiseable.

Snapshot

Ms Nordkapp is named after one of the highlights of a Hurtigruten Norwegian coastal voyage, the North Cape, where the midnight sun can be seen from mid-May through July. The cape has attracted explorers since it was named by Richard Chancellor, who was passing by in 1553 while searching for the Northeast passage. The Nordkapp was built in 1996 and, like other Hurtigruten ships, celebrates its heritage with artwork by renowned Norwegian artists, including Karl Erik Harr. The ship also offers jacuzzis and upgraded junior suites. Norway's Queen Sonja is ms Nordkapp's godmother.
