Costa Mediterranea: Inspired by classical Italian elegance
Costa Cruises' Costa Mediterranea is a crossroads of cultures and civilizations as it's inspired by Italy's 17th and 18th century palazzi and castles, while the decks are dedicated to mythology in the Mediterranean Sea.
Costa Mediterranea's attention to detail and refined furnishings are complemented by modern services. Additionally, the cabins are large and most of them include a private balcony.
The Mediterranea is equipped with both casual and formal dining areas. Meals for special diets are also available from diabetic to low-cholesterol. If you're in the mood for ice cream, a coffeehouse or pizza, those are all available. And when it's after-hours, you can take advantage of 24-hour room service.
- The main restaurant, Ristorante Degli Argentieri, is two decks high and seats 1,300 guests.
- Perla del Lago buffet
- Posillipo Pizzeria
- Club Medusa is a supper club located at the top of the atrium and housed under a glass dome.
- Casanova Bar
- Roero Bar
- Maschera d'Argento Bar
- Talia Bar

Activities & entertainment
At the heart of the ship, the atrium, Marchera d'Argento Hall, stretches over 10 decks. The main lounge, Teatro Osiris, is three decks high and seats 1,170 guests. A new design feature for this series of ships is the location of the show lounge/nightclub; here the Salone Giardino Isolabella resides beneath the main lounge.
Health & wellness
Guests will find a two-level health and fitness center, the Ischia Spa, four swimming pools (one featuring a retractable dome), five whirlpools and more than 10 themed bars, lounges and public areas for activities and entertainment. In addition, there's a shopping area, a wedding chapel and large facilities for children and youngsters. And there's a library, a conference center and a cascading waterslide.
Entertainment options include:
- Card room
- 7 live entertainment venues
