Those looking to explore the Alaskan wilderness have two new Un-Cruise Adventures itineraries to choose from: "Exploring Muir’s Wilderness" and "Yachters’ Alaskan Frontier." The Alaska adventure cruises include seven itineraries and 113 departures. These itineraries feature skiff excursions, hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding and whale watching.
On the new Yachters’ Alaskan Frontier itinerary, guests tour iceberg-rich Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier, kayak and hike in the rugged Port Houghton cove, whale watch in Frederick Sound and Icy Strait, and hike through the Tongass National Forest.
Each 7-day cruise has the option to combine up to three different itineraries for 14- to 22-day voyages. Rates begin at $2,295 per person double occupancy and include meals, activities, transfers day of cruise, fitness equipment and DVD library.
Cruises to Panama begin on April 29, 2017 aboard the 64-guest Safari Voyager where adventurers experience the "Pure Panama: Cultures, Coasts & Canals" itinerary. During the weeklong journey, guests sail roundtrip from Panama City on a tour that includes watersports activities at the Guna Yala Islands, explorations of the historic quarter of Panama City and wildlife viewing in the Darien Jungle via a motorized dugout canoe, birdwatching along the Chagres River, and a full transit of the 48-mile-long Panama Canal.
Rates begin at $4,395 per person based on double occupancy. Parents with children ages 8 to 13 can save $500 on fares through the Family Discoveries program.
